rssHugger - get a 10 year listing for free!

One of the things you have to do to have a popular blog is to advertise and get other folks to visit your blog.

“rssHugger aims to provide blog owners with a unique easy-to-use way to promote their blogs by sending them traffic, building backlinks for search engine optimization, as well as attracting new rss subscribers if the content is interesting to the reader.”

At first, they were going to charge $20 for you to be added to their network. This fee could be reduced to $10 if you were to blog about them and provide a link back to them just like I am doing right now. After getting some feedback from people, they decided to drop the fee if you provide a link to them.

The community has spoken, and we have listened! We have removed the $10 registration fee. Write a blog post reviewing rssHugger and get a 10 year listing absolutely free! We feel that in order to allow the smallest blogs that write quality content to join, we needed to offer a free solution.

If they were to keep even the $10 fee, I wouldn’t be writing about them now, because small blogs like myself really have to watch where to spend money. With services like Technorati and Facebook, there are many free alternatives to try out. Given that this is a new service, I’m willing to see how well it does. Since it’s free, I have no risk at all involved.
Do I think this site has a chance to be successful? I’m not so sure since Agloco is dead. I will promote other programs and write about my Internet experiences.
rssHugger is a new website developed to help bloggers promote their blogs, and to help visitors discover new blogs that write about subjects that the readers are interested in.
THE BIG NEWS: Due to the popular vote in the community, rssHugger have removed the $10 registration fee, so now if you make a blog post reviewing/critiquing rssHugger, you can get your own rssHugger page absolutely free! To be manually reviewed, please add your blog by going to the the “Add your Blog” tab. Upon completion of that, make sure you go back tp rssHugger to edit the categories/etc on your blog(s). rssHugger will manually reviewing every entry before it is included in the site.
